Tennis elbow affects very few people who get it mainly from playing tennis. Also called Archer’s elbow, it is a common injury caused by repetitive movement of the arm.
Tendons connect muscles to bones. Constant use of the arm in monotonous motions often causes small tears. The tendons of the elbow ends tear away from the bones they are attached to on the outer side of the elbow.
