- Join a support group – Meet others who have chronic pain, who can understand your pain and you feel less alone.
Pain can lead to depression, you can meet a counsellor who will help you lead a better life and also help you to avoid all negative thoughts that can make your pain worse. - Get a proper diet – According to nutritionist, eat red onions, grapefruit, broccoli, cranberries, salmon, walnuts, tea, citrus fruit, yogurt, and red grapes are proven painkillers, this will help to reduce your pain.
- Try to distract your mind –Do something else so that the pain isn’t the only thing on your mind. Do activities that you enjoy like sewing, reading books, painting, photography and so on, if your mobility is restricted.
- Keep in touch with your family and friends – Don’t let your pain to lose contact with people. Talk with your friends and relatives that are good for health and can help you feel much better. Talk about anything other than your pain.
