One of the core areas of TriBeCa Care’s expertise is prompt and efficient emergency care. We have so far successfully taken care of more than 6000 cases of medical emergencies. Needless to say, it would never be possible without our extremely skilled medical professionals. They not only devote themselves to your medical requirements 24*7 but also respond to a call for help in the blink of an eye! Does that sound incredible? Well, it happens here, at Tribeca.
We, as a team, are fully aware of the significance and implications of a medical emergency. We are particularly sensitive towards the elderly who live all by themselves. This is the story of one such TriBeCa member and his experience with our emergency support services.
An account of a medical emergency handled by TriBeCa Care in 2020
Emergency situations never come with a warning. Let us take Mr Tandon’s experience on the night of Kali Puja in 2020 for an example. Mr Tandon is an elderly man who stays all by himself in the City of Joy. Both his daughter and son have moved to the USA, and a nurse from our TriBeCa Home Care division looks after him in the daytime. He reposes his trust in TriBeCa to provide him with emergency care in his time of trouble.
So, it happened that on the given night, Mr Tandon (who already suffered from severe kidney problems) suddenly started experiencing extreme breathing difficulties. At 3:10 am, one of our valued Care Manager, Sreemanta Palit, received a call from Mr Tandon’s home, informing him of the health issues that he was facing.
Sreemanta was out of the door in a trice and reached Mr Tandon’s home in no time. While he was on the road, he made a few calls and by the time he reached the member’s home around 3.18 am. He had already arranged for an ambulance to take him to the nearest hospital. At around 3:30 am, they reached Shishumangal Hospital.
Sreemanta efficiently handled the admission preliminaries, took care of the formalities, including making all the payments, and saw to it that Mr Tandon was admitted and comfortably placed under adequate medical supervision. Then Sreemanta organised the medicines prescribed by the doctors. He was also in touch with Mr Tandon’s children in the USA, keeping them informed about their father’s condition. Sreemanta waited at the hospital until the situation was a little better, and finally, he returned home only at 4 pm in the afternoon the next day.
It goes without saying that Mr Tandon has recovered well and doing fine since then.
Emergency Support at TriBeCa Care
We also provide SOS-enabled phones to the seniors who live alone. These phones enable them to reach out to our enhanced emergency support. What you need is to just click on the phone button. Doesn’t that make life easier? We have a minimal response time. Following that, we provide the affected person with all sorts of medical support, from emergency ambulance to immediate hospitalization.
We are also equipped with admission assistance, for hospital admission is one of the most tedious and exhausting tasks that one has to perform. This often leads to the family members of the patient getting stressed beyond words. Our team ensures that you or your patient gets the best quality care available.
“One of the tests of leadership is the ability to recognize a problem before it becomes an emergency.” Taking this mantra to heart, Team TriBeCa toils relentlessly at the service of its members.
We value you, your life, and the lives of your loved ones, of course. Our 24*7 Emergency Care Team is always alert, to help you through a crisis and bring a smile back on your face.
